It's been a great week in GT! Our class studied Bill Gates and his life this week, learning why he is a powerful person. We identified several traits that he possessed including creativity, helpfulness (philanthropy), and perseverance. We were interested to find out that Bill Gates was bored in school beccause he already knew a lot of the material. When he discovered computers at his new school, it helped him find a reason to learn again. After reviewing his bio, we tried some activities with Ozobot robots and coding them to do tasks. We realized we had to learn the language of this technology just like Bill Gates learned the language of computers. Sorry about the lack of pictures! Next time!
