5th Grade Robotic Projects!

     Fifth grade has been studying robotics this year and working on answering our year-long question:  What can we learn from the exploration of robotics?  We started out the year defining robots and robotics . . .



then building, testing, troubleshooting, programming, analyzing, rebuilding working our way through the entire engineering design process.  We are ending the year choosing a project to build and add programming to.  These 5th graders are awesome-the projects challenging!  I know, because I had to dismantle some of their creations and I could see just how complex these projects were!  Many of them had to troubleshoot and change the original design, essentially making their own blueprint.  Great job, guys!  You can see some of our class activities on the 5th grade page.  Here are some or our projects of choice below:
